Ariel, named after the princess who just wants to have legs, is a 3-4 year old sweetheart. This girl was rescued in Tucson after being hit by a car; dragging herself to the side of the road, and settling on a cactus. After extensive care, we have been able to save Ariel’s leg. She will need a super-cool brace for the rest of her life, which DHDR has had custom made. While she won’t ever be a marathoner, she loves to be active, walk, and play. Ariel does great with people, other dogs, and kids. She is a fast learner and is mastering her obedience. She is create trained, and does well in the car. This cutie loves stuffed Kongs and elk antlers, although she really could live on affection alone. She even falls asleep while having her nails trimmed! This dainty little lady will make someone who wants a true snuggler (and maybe even a lap dog) very happy!
