She’s only about 1 year old, 57 lbs, and all puppy wiggle-butt! She has done well with dogs and cats and kids alike. Sugar is very inquisitive and will tilt her head when you talk to her, trying to understand what you’re saying. She does need continued and consistent training, but she’s very smart and very toy-motivated. She loves to play and is learning fast! She would make an exciting addition to a lovely and fun home that can just shower her with love and attention while maintaining that “parental” attitude.

He’s about 5 years old and 65 lbs, on the smaller side of the Doberman spectrum. Ledo is great with kids of all ages and he does well with other dogs and enjoys lengthy games of fetch. He can be possessive of his toys though, so a home with another toy-driven dog probably wouldn’t be best for him. He has the typical Velcro personality of a Doberman and loves to have affection poured down on him. This lover-boy is definitely a fan favorite.  Ledo’s favorite snacks include hot dogs and frozen blueberries, and he knows his basic commands. He is not much of a barker, though every once in a while a suspicious noise will elicit one or two alarms from him. A home that can commit to reinforcing his training, and even taking him further, is a must for Ledo. His manners are great, but he needs mental stimulation to keep him on his toes. An assertive, active, and playful home is just what this guy needs to live out the rest of his life comfortably.

Despite being a devilishly handsome giant, Garmr is still nothing but puppy – a lot of puppy. He gets along with everyone including cats, dogs, and kids alike and needs a strong owner willing and able to lay down some solid house rules. His obedience training is in progress and his indoor-manners are currently being improved upon as well. He enjoys testing boundaries, but is a total goofball while doing it. Just like any young child, Garmr simply wants to be a part of the crowd and his big clumsy self is still trying to figure out just where it is he truly belongs.  He needs someone who can keep up with him physically and mentally, providing a stable and disciplined, while equally loving and fun, home.

He is red with natural ears and a docked tail, and we believed him to be a Rottweiler/Doberman mix at first, but upon further research we now feel that he is full Rottie! The less common coloring of red Rottweilers is simply attributed to a color gene deficiency. Mack was picked up as a stray and seems to do well with everyone. He is very dog and people-social and has yet to meet someone he doesn’t get along with. We haven’t been able to observe Mack around cats, but his relaxed and laid-back nature leads us to believe he would be fine with a feline friend in the home. He thoroughly enjoys being outdoors, basking in the Arizona sunshine and seems to enjoy the simple things in life. He does need some help with learning obedience commands, but with consistency and positive reinforcement we are certain he will pick it all up in no time! For such a young pup this guy is very gentle and even more loveable! He would be great for just about any home, and would excel in one that can balance exercise, play, and discipline in harmony suitable to raise Mack to become a well-mannered and impressive adult!

She is approximately 2 years old and a petite girl. She is black & rust, cropped & docked, and only 55 lbs. Nikita really enjoys being outdoors and staying active with a good game of fetch, but she likes to take advantage of nap time during the day as well. A home without cats would be best for her, since she doesn’t get along well with them. Dogs would require a slow and proper introduction, and she seems to do great with kids. She’s a big lover and thrives on hugs and kisses! Overall, Nikita is quiet and obedient. She needs a little reinforcement on some commands but she knows sit, down, and stay. We all think that she would make a great prospect for lure coursing, obedience, and/or agility! This is one smart cookie!  She is also crate trained and housebroken.

She’s a gorgeous black and rust girl with natural ears and a docked tail, just like her sister Khloe! While at the same 84 lbs as her sister, Kimmi has a more petite bone structure. Kimmi has a more reserved personality, opting to hang out in a quiet room, away from any hustle and bustle. She is very patient with young kids, and is familiar with their tendencies to pull and climb.  Even though she does well with her sister Khloe and the Yorkie in her previous home, she has not had much exposure to dogs outside her “castle,” so we feel that small dogs would be okay, or a home with her sister and no other large dogs. We would love to see Kimmi and Khloe adopted together, but it is not a requirement. A home without cats may be best for her, since she tends to have an active prey drive when they start to run. When it comes to people though, she loves affection and is a pro at flipping your hand up over her nose, forcing you to pet her whether you wanted to or not! Kimmi loves to accompany you on walks and runs, and does well using a gentle-leader. She’s a smart girl, but needs help with her basic obedience (though she knows “sit” like a pro!) so a home with the knowledge and ability to help her learn is a must!

Khloe is a dark beauty, black and rust with natural ears and a docked tail. A big girl with a big bark, Khloe is 84 lbs of voluptuous Dobergirl, and just had her 2nd birthday in January! She has been raised with young children, a cat, and a small dog so she does well with all. Although she is big and beautiful, Khloe isn’t the most graceful girl, and may accidentally “pancake” a small dog while trying to play. She is very active and thoroughly enjoys a game of fetch with just about anything you will throw for her! She loves toys!  She also likes baths and will often try to “eat” the water. Her previous owner describes her as being “made of Velcro.” She adores her people and will do anything for affection. Khloe is quite enthusiastic about learning, and knows some commands but needs someone who will commit to working with her on her basic stuff. She is capable of going as far as you will take her, and maybe even a step further!

He will be 3 years old in May and we estimate him at about 80 lbs. He is very much a velcro Dobe, especially with men.  Rucker LOVES toys.  His favorites seem to be ropes and tennis balls (he likes to chew them).  He is learning how to play properly with other female dogs in his foster home, and we think he would be all right with a dog-savvy cat (with a proper introduction of course). We haven’t been able to observe him with children yet. His house manners, however, are perfect and he is very polite. Rucker’s personality is really starting to shine, and he absolutely loves any and all attention.  He is obedient and also a good protector, letting his family know if a visitor is near.  He seems to want to please his owner and could easily learn more tricks and behaviors.  He knows sit, down and stay.  He is also remembering how to walk politely on a leash, without pulling and will respond to a verbal “heel” command.  He can also be goofy and even clumsy, especially with the stairs!  Rucker is really a great Doberman and is more than ready to find his forever best friend.

She is a 6-year-young sweetheart with natural ears, a docked tail and a beautiful shiny black and rust coat. She is good with other dogs big and small, but requires a proper introduction first. We are told that she is good with cats as well, but we haven’t been able to observe this yet, and she has previously lived with older children. She likes to be in the room with people, but settles down quietly when that is not possible. She is a very sleek 67 pounds and is gentle with her weight. She’s a very active girl and is quite nimble. Jade loves going out to run so much that she will carry her own leash handle to help motivate you to take her out! She likes to play catch with the ball but really loves to play tug-of-war with a rope toy and sometimes even with her leash! Jade needs someone who will be firm and consistent with her training while also helping to build her self-confidence. While her house manners are great, she needs a little reminding of obedience commands, which her foster home is currently working on. Jade is just a bundle of joy that would make any active family very, very happy!

She does well with other dogs, but could be too rough in play for felines. She is good with the older children in her foster home and loves to be around her people as much as possible. Sarabi thoroughly enjoys playing fetch in the yard and is crazy about squeaky toys! She is housebroken, uses a doggy-door, and is a perfect leash walker.  She is playful, but not overly hyper and is very gentle.  She’s just a lover and is abundantly easy to get along with.
