Archibald aka “Archie” is a pedigreed, neutered male, black and tan, with cropped ears and a docked tail. He currently weighs around 75 lbs. He is approximately 4 years old and gets along with large dogs of both sexes, small dogs and children. We don’t know about his behavior around cats. He is crate trained and rides excellent in the car.
Archibald says:
“Hey! I’m Archie. I’m about 4 years old and the grape vine has it that I’m quite the charmer! I love my people & fellow fur-folk, and you’d better believe I’ll stand up and protect them if the need arises. Nothing gets past me! I’m a pretty handsome guy, if I do say so myself, and ain’t nobody gonna tell me different. I know my way around the house, especially concerning what’s acceptable and what’s not. And my foster-owners are working on teaching me obedience, which will only make me that much smarter than I already am! My favorite game is tug-of-war, probably because it requires a partner to play with. I’ve made a lot of friends in DHDR and impressed quite a few of their volunteers, but I’m really waiting for my forever person to come along. You know? Someone who can love me as much as I love them, or at least try. I know that us Dobes set a high standard when it comes to commitment! :-P”
