Jade is a real precious stone. She is a 6-year-young sweetheart with natural ears, a docked tail and a beautiful shiny black and rust coat. She is good with other dogs big and small, but requires a proper introduction first. We are told that she is good with cats as well, but we haven’t been able to observe this yet, and she has previously lived with older children. She likes to be in the room with people, but settles down quietly when that is not possible. She is a very sleek 67 pounds and is gentle with her weight. She’s a very active girl and is quite nimble. Jade loves going out to run so much that she will carry her own leash handle to help motivate you to take her out! She likes to play catch with the ball but really loves to play tug-of-war with a rope toy and sometimes even with her leash! Jade needs someone who will be firm and consistent with her training while also helping to build her self-confidence. While her house manners are great, she needs a little reminding of obedience commands, which her foster home is currently working on. Jade is just a bundle of joy that would make any active family very, very happy!
