Ginger is a sweet 75-lb, 7-year-old female. She is red/rust with natural ears and a docked tail. She is a loving and eager to please sensitive Dobe-girl.  She has been well behaved around dog savvy cats, and does play well with the dogs in her foster home, but this girl will require a slow and patient introduction to any new dogs.  For this reason, she may do best in an adoptive home without resident large dogs, or with a very experienced multi-dog household owner who will allow her to meet dogs at her own pace.  We haven’t seen her around kids yet but given her gentle nature, we think she could be good around older children.  She can be shy around some men but quickly warms up.  She does not have a single bad manner that we can find! She knows sit, shake, and will walk well on a leash. She is housebroken, crate and doggy door trained.  She will alert you to strangers around the home but is polite to guests.  She would do well in a quiet home where she can greet you with excited spins of happiness and fall asleep at your feet.
