Iggy (short for Igloo) is a cropped & docked male Doberman.  He is around 5-6 years old and weighs around 70 lbs.  He is a special acquisition for the rescue, in more ways than one. Iggy is an albino Doberman.  This is a result of unscrupulous breeding practices.  While he is beautiful, unfortunately there are some downsides to his unique coloring.  His eyes and skin are more sensitive to the sun and she should not be left outside for periods of time without sun protection, including goggles to protect his pretty blue eyes!  He is a smart cookie and already responds to hand commands, including one for hugs! He would do well in a home with another large dog, pending a meet & greet, and he is very gentle around children.  He waits patiently for his food, walks well on the leash, and rides in the car like it’s a normal part of a\the daily routine. Iggy’s kryptonite is the belly rub… and ice cream from Wendy’s.  He is very much a big time lover and whoever gets him will have won the canine lottery… doggles included!  You can read more about the Albino mutation in Dobermans here:  http://dpca.org/albino/albino_about.htm
