Kain is a 1.5 year old angel of a doberboy! Rescued by the The Humane Society of Southern Arizona, he came in with scarring on his back (suspected extreme sunburn). Regardless, he is incredibly handsome. Kain adores to run, play, and snuggle dogs of all shapes and sizes. He picks up well on signals from other dogs, which makes him a great friend. He also does well with cats, horses, ducks, and chickens. Kain has lived with older children and very much enjoys their attention as well. Folks fall in love with Kain wherever he goes, but don’t let this gentle sweetheart fool you, he has a BIG bark! He is housebroken, crate trained, does well in the car, and loves to play with toys. As a youngster, Kain will of course need ongoing training to make him the best he can be. Since Kain’s scars leave skin exposed, he would not be a good candidate for an all-day dog door and shouldn’t be left outside for long stretches of time. Whenever he does go on outdoor adventures, sunscreen is recommended. Kain is a great Doberman for a first timer, or a seasoned expert.
