After nearly six months of physical recovery, we are SO excited to announce that Rally is ready for adoption. Join us in celebrating, and read on to hear about the new dog Rally has become. Found dumped on reservation land near Tucson, Rally was malnourished and his leg was broken in two places. With a leg essentially just dangling there, he was still sweet and loving as could be. Our vet partner fought to save his leg with a very extensive surgery. He began to recover, going to physical therapy and laser therapy three times per week, all while receiving holistic therapy including cranial sacral, massage, infrared light, herbs, essential oils, ozone therapy, colloidal silver therapy, B12 shots, and water therapy. He encountered a variety of highs and lows, with one setback resulting in an infection so severe, we feared we would have to remove his leg after all. Our miracle boy “Rallied,” and has recovered from a final surgery to remove the plates in his leg. With all the pain in his rear view mirror, six year old Rally is ready to find his forever family. Understandably a bit timid from all the trauma he has been through, Rally can take some time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he is the world’s greatest cuddle bug. Rally does well with other dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, pea fowl, horses, and burros. He is great in the car, housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. Basically, your dream dog. Further positive training and activity will surely build his confidence. Rally may never run marathons or do super high intensity activity, but he loves walks, loves to run or play, and hiking is likely an option as well. He is ready to finally be active. Rally is looking for a loving home with patient and soft parents. Is that you?
