Sapphire is a charming two year old girl with good looks and an even better personality. Transferred to us from Houston as part of a rescue effort during Hurricane Harvey, Sapphire has been known as “the easy one.” Playful and silly, Sapphire loves other dogs. She is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands. Sapphire loves affection, and has a chill, happy temperament. This girl is an incredible catch. Sweet Sapphire was found as a stray in Texas, and sadly is Heartworm positive due to lack of care. Her treatment will last through the end of 2017. Sapphire is adoptable now and during that time under a strict protocol and treatment program funded and organized by DHDR.
