Sylvia is a 10 year old Doberman with a heart of gold. Sadly, she was found as a stray with a large, incredibly painful, weeping mass in her ear. DHDR had the mass removed, and we’ve been further saddened to find that the mass was cancerous, and there are two lesions in her lungs. At this time, the vet feels she could have anywhere from 6 months to 1+ year left, and we are determined to make that her best year yet. Sylvia is friendly with other animals, and adores cuddling her people on the couch. She is calm, gentle, and very velcro. She is crate trained and house trained, and is working on her leash training. Sylvia will have a loving, forever place with DHDR, however we also want to be open to the possibility of her finding a forever family that wants to love her for the time she has left. (Sylvia will need twice weekly ear drops, but should not require frequent vet visits unless her condition changes)
