Toretto, 5 years old, spent his life in a backyard. This special, quirky boy found it easy to adjust to a comfy life indoors. He is housebroken, crate trained, and loves to learn. A bit of a jumping bean, Toretto still needs to learn about structure, leash walking, and how to best interact. He’s not unruly, he has just never been taught how to be a pet. Toretto’s interests include Doberleaning, curing up on his comfy bed, and a good wrestle with his Kong Wobbler to make it spit out yummy treats. He also has perfected gazing lovingly into your eyes to get more neck rubs. This boy craves love and affection. Due to the environment in which he lived, Toretto can be dog selective at first. While he did live in a yard with another dog, he was also in a situation with a chain link fence and zero structure, which likely built up frustration and anxiety with other dogs that passed. He may enjoy being an only dog, and may also be a good fit for just the right dog(s). Toretto is not a match for small dogs or cats. If you are interested in showing Toretto the life he’s always deserved, email contact@azdoberescue.org. He is so excited to keep learning and healing from his prior life.
