This leggy, fawn beauty queen is just 28 months old. She was surrendered by her family for financial reasons only.  Spayed and vaccinated, of course, she also knows some basic commands and is learning more in her foster care program.  Reared with a young boy and his friends, Pris is accustomed to children 10 and up who have good dog manners.

Priscilla gets on very well with other dogs, including Dobermans and Chihuahuas of both sexes.  We don’t know her cat tolerance, but so far she has shown only appropriate interest in the small dogs.  She may have a moderately strong prey drive, so caution with cats is recommended.

Pris is a very girly girl, hence her name.  She’s not much into rough-housing, preferring soft and gentle caresses. So far, her most noticeable trait is her pronounced protectiveness of her special people. Strange noises, over-rowdy animals, and rough-house play bring acute interest and a soft grown meant to indicate her concern. She will intervene if necessary, but so far has shown a measured response appropriate to the situation.

Pris will do best in the home of an experienced Doberman owner.  She is very smart, very observant, and as her protective instinct shows, is very capable of taking control unless she’s confident that you know what you’re doing. This sweet and loving girl is a little more aloof than the typical Velcro Dobie. This may be a result of having been surrendered, or not. Time will tell. But she loves to sleep on our bed and at our feet. She enjoys interacting with people, listens intently, and wants to understand. This special girl deserves a special person who will take her as far as her intelligence and motivation will go, and will reward good care, physical exercise, and mental stimulation with her best behavior.  Expect to see her blossom.
