Sir Bowie is an 8 year old black and tan boy, with floppy ears and a docked tail. Bowie has a mature sense of self and has proven to be a very loyal and attentive companion. This boy has been adopted twice and unfortunately returned, although of no fault of his own. Both adopters had changes in their lifestyles and felt they couldn’t give him the attention he deserves. We now want to find him his FINAL fur-ever home with an adopter who truly deserves the love Bowie is so willing to give. He is a calm, sensitive, quiet, and well-mannered dog who loves to walk, hike, and even take an occasional run on the treadmill. He enjoys canine company and gets along with other dogs. He is crate trained (which he loves to sleep in at night) and doesn’t have one bad habit! He enjoys chasing the ever-elusive rabbits (never catching them of course), and has lived well with cats, provided there is a proper introduction. He is sweet & friendly with children in the park. Bowie is a “Dobergent” by definition; a truly kind andgentle soul. His favorite trick is to “shake hands” and he will offer his paw unprompted. Will you take it?
