ADOPTION PENDING

Dolchae is a red & rust, cropped & docked female who weighs in at a slightly heavy 89 lbs. This 7 year-old is a sweet thing, with a malformation in her front leg that she has lived with her entire life. This doesn’t cause her any pain or discomfort.  She does well with the dogs in her foster home, but would need to live in a home without children. We have been unable to observe her around cats, so a home with any kitties would require an appropriate introduction first. This quiet and mellow girl bonds quickly with women, but will also accept affection from some men. She is pleasantly peaceful indoors and on road trips as well. She is crate trained and housebroken, with no bad habits to speak of. Her foster home reports that she is exceptionally easy to live with as a midlife adult, and doesn’t seem to really have that “velcro” personality the Doberman breed is famous for. She is content to just hang out all day and relax in between neighborhood walks. She would fit in well with a family that isn’t super active and is looking more for a quiet companionship than an energetic running partner.
