Wotan is an all-natural, black and rust, male Doberman. He is around 1 year old and weighs about 70 lbs. He is housebroken and gets along famously with all of the dogs in his foster home.  In fact, so much that we are going to ask that any adoptive home for Wotan have at least one playful resident dog.  He’d love a doggy sister or submissive brother.  We have not observed his behavior around cats. The boy does know his basic obedience, but his memory seems to improve when there is food involved. Wotan came to us a scared ball of Doberman, but has really come out of his shell.  He has already improved leaps and bounds though, and walks perfectly on the leash and has polite house manners.  Wotan has even attended some busy adoption events in the Phoenix area and is learning how to make more human friends.  He will need continued training and patience from a loving adopter who will allow him to warm up at his own pace.  We are going to ask for a home without young children, because of his shy nature.  This boy will be an amazing companion, will you be the one to show him he can trust again?
